Moments of My Son
By Larry Chamberlin, 03 March 2015
If I could give you anything it would be moments: It would be the moment you perfected your first 180, bruises and all. It would be the moment your young sister asked if you could dance in a silly way and you mimicked her perfectly. It would be the moment you leaned over the edge and looked to the bottom from the tooth of time. It would be the moment I stood beside you as your beautiful bride walked down the aisle. It would be the moment you read your grandmother's favorite poem to her as she lay dying. All these moments make up points of your life sure as the stars make the constellations of the sky. These are how I have known you, and how I will always know how to find you.
